I am going to buy a P5N32-E sli board from delta and I want to knoe what I should be looking out for.
-Revision of the board: What is the most recent revision?
-Any other thing?

Regarding the processor, I've heard ppl talk of "golden steppings" and stuff. Now I know that getting a good stepping does not but only increase the chance of good chip - but, hey, it's worth a try.
I've put together a list of weeks in order of most promising to the least, from the conroe OC databases. Tell me if what you think:

L630
L628
L632
L626
L623
L629

How do I check the week? I hope that it can be seen on the sticker outside the box and that the shopkeeper will let me check all the e6600s before I buy:P

The stepping/batch# will be on the label of all retail boxes, see above. To find the week, look at the example above which reads: L623A464. That's a week 23, A stepping.

Your best best would be to get a B stepping, but availability is an issue. If no B stepping is available get a week 30 or week 28.

na doesnt look like his X68.... stepping is different. Or is it?

Yea best bet would be a low batch L628A or a L630A753 or so.

Coming back to the original question of the thread, wait for the p5n32-e sli plus. Its a hybrid motherboard designed by asus which uses the nforce 650i northbridge and nforce 590(or 570 maybe) southbridge. It has the same overcocking ability and also offers the same 16X SLI support. It even uses the same pcb as the p5n32-e/striker extreme. Supposedly its a much better combination and all the compatibility problems which plagued the 680i boards are solved
