CPU/Mobo e7500 vs phenom2 550be

hi guys going for new proc and a choice btw these 2 processors for which one to go intel e7500 or phenom2 550be(on 2cores not after unlocking).means 2 cores vs 2 cores then which one is better?

The PhenomII 550BE coz you can get a good 785G DDRIII mobo for 5-6k and DDRIII is the way to go now istead of buying a new LGA775 socket.

If you can wait til Jan then new 32nm fab core i-3 processors are going to be released by intel. They core i-3 are priced from $125. So that should be a good option worth waiting.

Phenom IIX2 550 PK Core 2 E7500

other than THAT, the 550BE plus 785G makes a kick ass combo.

Also, what's your budget? and do you already have a board or want a new one...

the P2 550 is a far better option, just go for it !

Phenom II X2 550 is better but my pick instead will be Athlon II X4 620 for 5.5k

and never rely on unlocking of two cores thingy when purchasing AMD processor.

6MB L3 cache on X2 550, do the math, which one wud be better according to you?
