CPU/Mobo E8400 - Price increase by 800

Coming back to topic... Is there any update on the price of E8400?? I wanna buy this proc and wonder if its price falls with intel's scheduled price cut on 20th :/
 
i had bought my e8400 through redington for 8.7 some 1 n 1/2 week back i opened the box this week and started using it then the performance is damn good over my 6750 and beats it like hell anyday.
 
Ajex the price is still hovering around the 8.4k mark or so, maybe a little lower. The price cut for the 45 nm proccy's is barely 2$, i dont think we'll see any change unless supply issues are sorted out
 
yes -- i also need the qoute for Abit ip35-e + E8400 from delhi .... yesterday i got a qoute which was just for the proc at Rs 8700/- in nehru place ... if anybody is getting cheaper than this in Nehru place ...plz make a G0 for it ...there are lots of people who want this proc :) ....

got it 3 days back for 3650 form nehru place kamaldeep computers :hap2:
 
lol its a typo for sure.

But i am surprised by the prices of E8400 all over the country.

Most places its costing more than that of Mumbai which is usually most expensive.

Its cheaper here than Bangalore and Chennai :P

@Funky: Yeah, South India prices're higher than in Mumbai. DP got his fer 9k or so from B'lore. Its not stocked in Chennai.. Lo'l.. :)
