For gaming, definitely the 5800x3d. No contest. If you do anything that will make use of the extra cores, then 5900x. But the benefit in that regard is insignificant. Would suggest 5800x3d

Its good to see that AMD is trying to match with the International Prices. Now just waiting if the AM5 will also get a price-drop in India.

If you have a decent GPU you'll do the encoding on that so CPU can be 5800X3D.
