Got this in my email today..

brilliant stuff.. Game companies are starting to realize that gaming in India finally has a future :).

First we had the price cuts in Video Game titles, then the Sony Playstation Experience.. and now this!

hope they take this all through the country and dont end up restricting it to just delhi :hap2::hap2:

way to go EA India!
 
well i havent got my hands on crysis ....not even the *ahem* version :( ..hav played just the demo ..if any body can help me getting the *ahem* version ...i can come ...although i hav played the multiplayer beta ..but iam out of practice now :| ....so if i can get my hands on the game ..i can come to chanakya puri ...no troubles :)

Though i have the *ahem* version but now I have to buy the original, i dont think you would be able to play in the BYOC using the *ahem* version. After all its a event by EA Online.
 
well this is a BYOC, same thing happened in OCT end too and it was briliant... last time around 68 people came and now this time its already over 80 people :D
its total fun so who ever wants to join in.. don't think much about it just come and enjoy for 24 hours :D
 
BTW... i do hope EA or whatever sponsors are there provide PC's... cause crysis wont run smoothly at all on the config that Xtreme gaming cafe people's PC have.... and as its BYOC.. only some people would have a config good enough to run Crysis... >>
 
they are providing computers on rent, but for a high end config price is Rs. 800 which is quite high, and a monitor separate for Rs. 200.

That's definately good enough to run it, particularly @ 800X600 with mid-low details...I say this since Even I played crysis with my X2 3600+ /2GB/X1250 Onboard !! . a 7600GT is WAY better than my Integrated solution...
 
I think if 100 shows up, the majority wont be able to run crysis smoothly and hence the lan party will gradually shift towards low end games like nfs, cs, strategy etc.
 
man can we TE people have a small meet after the LAN party, one more thing do we have to adhere to the seating that we decided while registering????
