Yeas when u list an item, wether u sell or not u will be charged a amount. It is billed separate.

When u sell a item, the listing charges + a 4~6% paisapay charges are deducted and credited to ur accnt.

It usually happens in thursday and perhaps tuesday also... forgot for certain.

I sold like 7 or 8 items and these were my experiences.

Okay, thank you guys :)

One doubt about shipping...When I have to ship the item ? Do I get any notification from ebay ? Because recently I made a purchase on 19th Jan and seller shipped it after 6 days, on 25th. Seller was late in shipping or is there something more ?

Once the buyer has made payments for your item, ebay PaisaPay will give you a confirmation of payment and also provide a deadline before which you have to ship the item and provide shipping details.

Yes if buyer uses paisepay then 4-4.5% will be deducted from your total amount and remaining will be transferred to your bank account.

So almost 10% money will be taken by ebay ???

5% for listing....service tax 5% and 3% cess thereon

Now this paisapay fee, 4%....so roughly 10% money ? :@

yepp, in short depending on the category that is what happens. You get so many ebay coupons, where does it come from :p most of the items I had sold, I had to pay about 6.5% of the cost.

5% listing cost, is something which I had not seen earlier, but now i guess they have revised the fees.

Too bad :(

Was setting up Paisa Pay seller's account. I don't have a cheque book, so I can't create it ? It asks MICR code which will be on check book

Like I said before, I was only charged 4.52% as the PaisaPay fee and no extra amount was deducted by ebay.

But I have sold only once on ebay. So, maybe the more experienced ebay sellers would be better able to help you.

^ charges are different for different things.....

@nehaladsul - Go to Home> My eBay > Account(here you will find seller fees which you have to pay to eBay)....

^^ I know that mate...

All I am saying is that I WAS NOT CHARGED BY EBAY FOR THE LISTING....

Only the PaisaPay Fees were deducted from the total amount and the balance was remitted to me. As the buyer had made payment by Debit Card, I had to pay 4.52% of 3500.

:)

Paisapay fees is deducted while Ebay is transferring you the sold item's amount.
For listing fees, you have to check your seller account page, and you will have to pay Ebay later maybe like at the end of the month.

That's what im trying to explain.....

Basically, there are two broad categories of seller fees - Listing fee and Final value fee. The listing fee is for putting up the item on ebay. The FVF is the paisapay fee. FVF gets deducted from the value of the sale and the balance is transferred to your account. The listing fee comes in the form of an ebay invoice once every month (and only if it is beyond Rs.25). Listing fee will include the additional fee for highlighting, bold borders, additional pics, reserve fee, auction fee, etc.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
