eBay India - Coupons & Deals

So i've been checking out ebay an other sites for the last couple of days. and i actually haven't come across any deal of my liking. :S
ATM I would like to buy a decent full-ear cover headphone with mic. Entry-level model.

BTW,a nud question.
All you do the following when you got your shipment from ebay.
"Buyers note: Please check the item in front of delivery man. For any loss or defect, mention it clearly on the receipt you sign & email us the same within 24 hours. If you fail to follow the process, we would not be able to help you out in case problem arises."
Saw above note on one of the ebay seller.
Do you guys really do that ?
Or just check the package if tempered or not ?
I' afraiding to buy from the seller got 100% feed backs but only from total 70.

If that is what the seller said then better do it to help prevent any nightmare from occurring later.

No courier would allow u to open the package in front of delivery guy, no matter what u say or do except flipkart.

I tried to do it but they made me sign the delivery receipt first and then handed the package. Else they said refuse delivery.

Fedex allowed me to open it, because since it was imported, seal was broken for inspection.. Also infibeam logistics allowed me to open in front of them..
 
Yup! Once I was made purchase of laptop from letsbuy and Aramex guy allowed me check the items inside package before I accept the delivery and Since Laptop was wrapped inside multilayer of packaging, taken 15 minutes to open it.
 
yes, any sony product for 250/ is not possible in india. Even the least priced headset you would buy in hongkong/singapur will exceed Rs 700.

javas ( jabong) is the only courier that even encourages you to open stuff . rest of them revolt. one guy from delhivery raised a riot. they all make a fuss, but i make it a point to open and check stuff before signing. if there is an issue, i reseal it myself and make a note on their sheet. why should i keep a dud item and possibly end up paying for its return shipping etc?

it was funny when a fedex guy expected me to take a sealed package on COD. was already half minded about the purchase so kicked him out.
