ebay - product damage doubts

this is the first time i got damaged product.
bought tempered glass for air 2 from ebay.
while opeing, it was completely broken, even the case which protect the is broken.
i believe it was damaged through transmit.
message the seller with the picture.
the question is, whats next.
should i await reply from seller
or
make a call to ebay and ...?
still havent left the feedback.

wait for ebay seller reply first, you are not getting any reply then file ebay claim.

ebay claim will provide solution either replacement or refund.
