Hi

I will be visiting Patna today for the Eclipse.

Please suggest me where should I visit from Patna JN to observe the eclipse.

There is one ground there in patna, named Gandhi Maidan.

Its a big ground in patna, only 10 minutes distance from patna junction.

unluckily i wil have to witness the eclipse from delhi only. But still would be taking pictures. can anybody suggest what precautions should i take while photographing the eclipse with a DSLR. will it cause any harm to the sensor?

What is the alternate to safely view the eclipse with the naked eyes? As i dont have the special glasses.

What do I set in my Canon A470 Digi-Cam to get good pics of eclipse ?

Taregana is a village 35 km away from Patna on Patna-Gaya road where the solar eclipse is expected to be seen best and for longer time. Even special flight from Delhi will also go over this place. I am visiting Taregana tomorrow early morning

no specific settings can be suggested. you have to take some sample shots and adjust the exposure accordingly till the desired output comes out as a lot will depend on the conditions like light, clouds etc....
