The above model comes with 3 year warranty on battery on a pro-rata basis.

Also realized, Hero electric has nothing to do Hero Honda or Hero motor cycles. It is a separate company. Actual Hero company is investing in Ather Energy and promoting the same.

Not like Hero isn't providing any warranty on batteries at all, they too provide a warranty from 1-3 years depending on the model.

just saying even hyundai kona electric has long battery warranty iirc

checked out hero electric site. they're offering 1-3 years warranty on battery which is decent imo. in extended warranty, the 4th and 5th year doesn't include battery.

Was looking at Hero Electric website, couple of mistakes (eek) - but seems to make claims its related to Hero Motor Corp!

Was looking for a 2 wheeler for making short runs to the shops or etc. The top speed of 25 is more than enough with all the speedbreakers etc. But with the cost similar to petrol ones, dont see a major advantage
