Electric Toothbrush Recommendation

First time buying an electric toothbrush and need some recommendation from those who are already using it. Budget is 1k. I would prefer something with replaceable battery but didn't find many options. I researched and found that with online deals, one can go with Colgate, Perfora and Oral B...

I bought the Philips Sonicare 4300 from Croma a couple of weeks ago.

I've used a few cheaper Oral-B electric toothbrushes before that used AA batteries. Philips is significantly better in my experience. Rechargeable battery and has a 2 minute timer and two power modes. Mouth feels much fresher and cleaner after using.

The brush head is about half the size of manual toothbrushes, so that takes getting used to. You'll probably recover the cost of the toothbrush from savings on toothpaste.

Hey there! I recently switched to an electric toothbrush, and it’s been great for my dental hygiene.

For your budget of 1500rs, I recommend looking at Colgate or Oral-B. These brands offer reliable entry-level options. I personally use the Colgate ProClinical 150, which has a two-minute timer and soft bristles, and it works really well.

Just make sure to get one with a built-in timer and replaceable brush heads. Overall, it’s been a worthwhile switch for me. Hope you find one that suits you!

I had a Philips Sonicare 3000 series and after the initial brush heads that I had purchased along with it were used up, I couldn't get original replacement heads.

I think the earlier Oral-B ones with NiMh batteries and without pressure sensors were really bad. I replaced the Sonicare with the Oral-B Smart 7 which cost about 3.5k with a free 900 bucks Gillette razor and for that price, it seems to be quite good. Can also get 4 replacement brush heads for less than 800 which is also quite cheaper than Philips.
