emule speeds ?

i get normally 32k download speeds on torrents and http and other p2p's.But on emule the speeds never go above 8k.I left it on for 6 hrs max i got was 8k on my downloads.Is there some way by which we can increase the speeds on emule ?

The ed2k network relies a lot on your share ratio and UserID should b high... I have observed that if u have a good UL: DL ratio, u get good speeds. Also make sure that u spend a lot of time on the same servers and after that u'll get the good speeds!!

I don't think there' any upload / download ratio when it comes to Emule. But yes the UserID should be High.

Emule is naturally a slow P2P. I've been using it for a very long time to download the rarest of rare files, and leave it on for days, the speed usually picks up (around 25-30kBps) after some 5-10 hours of continuous run on 500mb+ files with at least 15-20 sources.

I get 12 Kbps on sify 64Kbps thats good by any stds
I used to get 31-38Kbps on Pacenet 300Kbps
not tried on mtnl or other network...but has extremely rare and good content
i use morphXT v9.6...a kad mod

emule is for best for content which can be rare to get some times...
