ya, i think it should be easily playable. Here are the minimum specs:

Official system requirements released Id software has released system requirements for Quake Wars, and as you can see, you need a faster machine if you plan to play it on Windows Vista.

Software requirements Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP/Vista (Windows 95/98/ME/2000 are unsupported)

Ya, i tried the MCP machinegun. It takes some time to start but when it's ON it devastates anything which comes in its way.

I mean how to produce the fireball effect coming from the sky?

got this. It's the artillery support fire of Stroggs and can be called by the Strogg Field-Ops (forgot the Strogg field-ops term).
