Since this topic is about e-readers, may I ask a question.....I have some large collection of Agatha Christie Books in pdf format. What would be the best device for reading them ? My main concern is it should be least straining to the eyes.

How about reading the PDFs on the kindle without converting ? How's the experience compared to mobi ?
Since it seems conversion from PDF to mobi is not all smooth sailing with various types of formatting issues involved.
@agantuk since you seem to have the same collection as me can you share some tips about which type of conversion method you used and whats the end result like ? I mean how's the formatting of the final mobi files?
I used Mobipocket Creator (many online sites suggest Calibre, but I found this one better) to convert the collection, and it has come out neatly, page formatting included. The text also reflows well and doesn't end abruptly.
