There is a differance. Not a lot though. The referee is a bit more sane and doesn't award a free kick with every contact. The game is a bit faster. There are some other minor changes like the Quick restart option that you get every now and then. You don't see the "advantage played" icon on the screen anymore. etc.

quake is 1 game which u will play better when drunk. lol

@stormy, with Q3 YES, but not Q4 man - I move like I'm drunk even when I'm not

@spin, movement seems a bit smoother and faster... it could just be me but I like what I see. Plus I hear they've updated the netcode which I hope means it won't be laggy when your latency is ~100ms.

well i was never a fan of vq3 movement in the first place, and definitely not after cpma. i've always felt that even bringing q4 upto vq3 levels would not be enough.

lets see, i have a system format planned in the near future. after that i might reinstall q4 to check it out. maybe we can play a bit if you're up for it?
