Ashwath is coming. Plain and simple. He likes to build up the whole deal before coming and owning everyone blindfolded withouth even using a mouse / keyboard.

Well, Q4 isn't VQ3 by any means... even I'm not a fan of VQ3, but Q4 has it's own unique movement style which I kinda like and with 1.4 it seems a lot smoother :P I'm up for it and so is Binoy, as soon as we can find a damn server to play on that has 1.4 beta and q4max 0.77 :P
 
my my my... what is this. i already said i'm not coming lol. i'm stuck in the other end of the world.. so go ahead enjoy your trip to france. even if i do come back to india, i won't play quake 4 because i find it boring and there's no point in going to paris again if you don't wanna compete seriously.

Give me a break, I'd rather not compete than be part of a reinforcement organized event - I shared the entire story with hp last year, and he said they'll try to organize it themselves this year. I hope they do :(
 
I will participate just for the hell of it, had barely played vq4 before, no 9800 with me anymore :(

Will have to rely on q3 skills :P

Any dates known yet? I really hope they keep it on weekends :/
 
You shouldn't quit Q3, your talent/skill is amazing - when I was in the US I was able to find Q3 CPMA servers that had ~ 50ms. You should look for some too and stay in touch :)

well rio, there are a lot of servers here for q3, cpm and q4 but i don't get time to play at all. that's why i play wow which is populated even late at nights when its impossible to get q3 games :<

@Ashwath, that's too bad... I miss those days getting slaughtered by you, at least it kept me on my toes... these days my game has become sloppy with noone to make me run around.
 
heh have fun playing q4 at 50+ pings guys :P it isn't cpma... though something is better than nothing and 1.4 beta claims to have some networking improvements..
 
^^I know, but 1.4 beta supposedly has some netcode fixes... I haven't tested yet. When we set up that server, we'll know. CPMA rules and is highly superior to OSP in many aspects, but underrated. But OSP went first to market so they gained more popularity as a result...

im 65 atm.. almost 66. though i don't see why i have to be called a nerd :P the game takes a lot of skill to play at a high level.
 
We've all posted on the indiangamersleague.com forums, and afaik someone had said the server would be up sometime in January but hasn't happened as yet.

RiO, anything over 20ms in q4 is not fun to play. I tried playing on some servers with 80 ping, its so annoying that you wont want to ever start q4 again.

I hope someone can setup a damn server, at least till ESWC is done.
