well people were saying fake chinese goods should not be sold here and all. It's only a duplicate. Nothing unethical about it
 
If you want to be anal about it, selling counterfeit goods is a crime. IMO if the seller clearly identifies the product as a knock-off and not the real thing, then it should be cool here.

I Do Professional Repairs Of Mobile Phones And Would Like To Start The Commentary Here .

1 :The Chinese Mobile Phones Are Made Using Very Good Microcontroller From MTX ,Ti Etc .It Depends That The Guy Who is Using This MCU is Making a Good PCB or Not

2 :The Good Crafted PCB Are superb in Quality ,If The Plastics Used On The Top Match The Quality Inside They Rock

3 :Infact i Strongly Believe That There is No Need To Say This Or That Phone Is a Look Alike Of This Nokia Model Or That Samsung Model Etc .They Should Stick To There Own design .

4 :They even Have PDA Phones Now With Windows Mobile 6.0 OS

What what about the health hazzards that these phones Offer without any charge? Who tests them for any damage through cell radiation and everything???
Nokia and all good brands have facility for this special reason.
 
I read somewhere the Chinese phones are nothing but a copy of original phones using their blueprints stolen or bribed from the original company's manufacturing plants (in China)... Even the iPhone is not spared of this copying. Is this true?

Thats Not True ,

All Mobile Phones Have Shields To Cover Radiation Based Area And So Does All Chinese Phones ,I Never Seen One That Does Not Have It

There is No Need To Make the Circuit ,the circuit Is Professionally Designed By Semiconductor Manufacturers Like Texas Instruments ,MTK Etc ,the People Just Make The Mobile Phones Using Thier Reference circuit .Also What Are You Talking About "Managed To Make Multi Touch Panels " Man They Are The Producers Of The Same ,Any Bloody Company Can Make Touch Panels And Chinese People Are Pioneers In That Case .I Have a Suggestion For You Until You Do Not Have The Knowledge Of the Subject Please Do Not Comment And Spread Wrong Informations .Do You Want Me To Send You Some Circuits ,Codes and Schematics ,Etc For The Same Hummm .I Also Stock Infinity ,Spiderman Box ,MTX Box and Many Chinese Mobile Phone Repairing And Testing Instruments .
 
You guys remeber Gulsar.. ?? chinese version of Indian pulsar.. These chinese ppl can go on anything... no matter if they are given original blueprints orany original stuffs ..final finishing would still look like CHINESE ;)

If you are one with L4 mobile repairing expertise then you can also differentiate between a circuit designed by a TI, MTK and a circuit designed any cheap semiconductor manufacture. Why aren't the reliability of those cheap chines circuit live up to the mark. Reason being they are using cheaper technology, cheaper conductors and moreover their RD is inclined towards cutting costs rather then maintaining quality. As far as counterfeit is concerned it is serious crime and causes loss not only to the company's reputation but also to a novice customer's faith.

Mate one thing more being knowledgeable doesn't means you should be rude with fellow members, Knowledge should be spread rather then getting preserved.

Now that I am a certified Dumbo :stup1: I would like to ask the elite knowledgable peeps :cool2: out there (especially the Chinese Phone Guru Amarbir), what about patents, copyrights and stuffs? Are they violated by these Chinese Mobiles? If yes, then is that Illegal in India?

Ho said you are dumbo mate... its just a matter of know how and experience, you might be better from someone running less then T6600 :cool2:

Coming to the topic. They are non-ethical but they aren't illegal in India :) You can have one & make your mates jealous, but be prepared to get it on your own risk as reliability of these Chinese mobiles aren't up to the mark.
 
Never go for any chinese phone which is a copy of someother Brand. I have tried other chinese phones too. I hate their OS. It has all colors in one screen. Red Blue. I think these people are Using low quality raw material. I wonder if one can install thrid party apps on these fake phones. I have tested few fake N95 and they are so Damn slow.

I saw one yesterday is looks just like N95 I mean Just the same it opens other way also. I have seen many fake N95 and made out tht they are not nokia in a sec. But this one was so damn finished.
