SLI Emperor laptop announced
The Canadian based company known as Eurocom just announced its 19-inch laptop with a Turion CPU. The notebook screen supports native 1680x1050 resolution. The machine comes with a single or dual Geforce 7800 GTX either 512 or 256 MB cards and you have an option to use Mobility X800XT PE from ATI. The notebook has a SRS WOW surround sound system and supports up to 2 GB or DDR 400 Ram. The machine has enough space for a single 120 GB SATA 2 hard drive, 8X multi DVD recorder, 4x1 media card reader, an optional internal TV Tuner, 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN, Bluetooth, 1Gig Ethernet, five USB 2.0 ports, Firewire, HDTV port, DVI-I port for dual display, and all standard ports, incuding serial and parallel. A bunch of options for the money of course.
The machine is powered with a Turion 64 CPU that consumes up to 35W and it supports MT-37/40 models. We just found out that MT 40 works at 2.2 GHz while MT 37 works at 2 GHz. The machine comes with a full size 102 key keyboard and waight a saucy 6.5 kilos.
Eurocom will ship these machines in early to mid March but we don't know the price yet.
