I own an EVGA 9800GTX+ Superclocked G.Card, now, the Box says I have 10yrs lifetime warranty if I register, so I registered, now I wonder whether Indian distributor will recognize a 10 year warranty, if not then how long will this warranty be recognised?

i hope u registered within 30 days of purchase. In that case u will get 10 year warranty for U.S. i.e. God forbid incase ur card goes boom (which wont happen coz u own a Corsair PSU) then ul have to send it smhow to U.S. to avail warranty or atleast send it to taiwan or smthing.

EVGA Owners, throw more light on International Warranty of EVGA Graphics Cards plz.

PS: I assume OP bought the card from abroad/US.

Where did you purchase the card from ? If it was in India through local channels (Not imported) then you will get the first 3 years of the warranty period via the Local Distributors and the added 7 Years via EVGA Germany. If the card was purchased outside of India, then warranty will be handled as mentioned above in the respective country of purchase.

they say that my card is already out of warranty... :S :S

its just 1.5 years since i purchased it.. and had registered it within 30 days.. so gross... btw the card is 8800 gtx which is now dead btw.. :|

I bought it from a local dealer which imported the card from Tirupati Enterprises(Official Distro of EVGA in India, Headquarter's in Kolkata) right in front of me, so literally I bought it from Tirupati(through dealer) and registered the day I bought it, so according to you I should get 3yrs local+7yrs International warranty:clap: .
Bah, my card's gonna be obsolete as soon as DX11 hits, so even a 2 yrs warranty will do just fine:@ .

BTW does this forum has an auto subscribe feature where the thread in which I post is automatically subscribed?? Makes tracking threads easier.
