Now I have a 80GB IDE Hard Drive with me. However I have the Intel DH55TC mobo which afaik does not support IDE. So basically this Hard Drive is getting wasted. Is there anyway that I can use external casing and make it work as External hard Disk? I already have the external casing with me but this casing requires power supply as well as USB. Is there no casing for these 3.5" IDE drives that works as External HD without needing Power Supply?

And is there anyway I can use the IDE in my PC ?

AFAIK there is no casing available for 3.5" drive(IDE/sata) which works without external power supply. Even the branded comes with the external PS.
Sata to IDE convertors are available in market/online.

go for ATMT HDD casing it is found on ebay.

It was a little expensive but worth it.

The Quality is excellent.

I have one such casing, If you want Pics then PM me and I will post them.

Last but not least it is IDE to USB and not SATA.
