They reported the BENQ 1640's plus points as "None in Particular" ... the HORROR of it !!! The BEST BUY award was given to a LiteON Super ALLWrite SHM-165P6S (Jeese what a name to remember) ...... anyone tried this drive ?
Quite a nice drive.. about 80-85% of the Benqs in terms of quality now. No official overspeeding like the Benqs, but Omnipatcher should work, as should MCSE. DVD-RAM is a plus, but there have been reports that it messes up the -RAM discs. Good burn quality at 16X ( I tried some TYG03 and MBI 16X discs).
