An EXTREME Overclocking Forum member has been kind enough to create & maintain a nice (and easy to use) online PSU calculator program, called the eXtreme PSU Calculator. Note: The wattage ratings that the eXtreme PSU Calculator uses are considered "absolute maximum" figures, so the total wattage calculated *should* have a reasonable amount of excess capacity compared to the actual hardware.

Hey bottle.. its a nice find indeed.. Interestingly, my system needs a PSU rated not less than 405W :D

Shockingly, my OCed winchester consumes a peak power of 126W :O while at stock it consumes 67W!!! that explains the mystery behind my past electricity bills :ohyeah:

Heh, Mines comes at 377W total for main system.
Heh venice oced gives out 144Watts ROFL :P Never thought it will be as high for CPU.

Nice find bottle ! Mine comes to 360W if I oc the processor. Warning bells for me to change my PSU I guess..

For 3000+ Venice at 2300MHz, 1.5V, power = 106W

and for the same speed at 1.8V, power = a whopping 152W!!!!

and about this part in ur siggy:

Athlon 64 3000+ Venice / DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D

New major update is coming:

Video Card wattages have been reviewed and will be listed based on real life 3D load tests (Not the maximum power consumption reported by manufacturers).

my requirements are 212 w if curent video card is utilised

my newly purchased video card will take my sys to : 252 w

I agree... I overclock my RAM too at times and there is no indication of that... And by overclocking RAM i mean going overboard 3.2-3.4 Volts...

Yea but must be atleast somewhere near the req.

I imagine if my Deal goes through for the x850 xt pe :|.

I guess ill have to buy a new PSU then too :/.
