Car & Bike F1 Malaysia Grand Prix 2008

Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Masa screwed up big time. Soo many points lost for constructor's championship.

Kimi was Mr. Perfect today. No mistakes, perfect stunningly fast race.

If only Masa was 2nd this would have been perfect day.

He couldnt pass Webber in a faster car and that too WHOLE RACE What kind of well fought that was ?

Heiki did good..

Massa screwed Ferrari 1-2...

Hamilton was relatively heavily fueled so he couldn't pass webber :p that explains his late pit stop and the the gap between hamilton and webber at the end of the race :p

At the end of the race the gap between webber and hamilton is 24 secconds inspite of having an extra 10 secs during pits.

And in the last 10 laps Hamilton made life very difficult.....at every point during the race he faught it out ....so that was what I meant Well Faught...he made the best of the worst situation....qualified decent....got penalised...bungled pit-stop..still came 5th

Seriosly and Ferraris were invincible.. For a second i thought that Marshals would push his car on the track.. But then that is not allowed after last yr..

Also not to forget a small fight between Alonso and DC was very interesting..

afaik it was never allowed.. the only reason schumacher got away with that last time was coz they used a flimsy excuse of the car being in a dangerous position on the track :p

IMO ferrari are not treating both the drivers equally.....Raikkonen's pit stop was intentionaly compromised by 0.6secs so that he came in front of massa...lesser fuel = less weight -> he had an edge on Massa after the pit-stop AND had better track position

We've a Lewis fanboy here! LOL

all said and done, after all the iffs and the butts what really matters is the score card. Today was Ferrari's day! Hope the rest of the season pretty much stays the same way ;)

The Gap at the end of the race doesnt matter..

Redbull is not frontrunner and so one cant be "" "" when Mclaren gains the position over Redbull... But its certainly "" "" when Mclaren doens't.

Besides it wasnt as if Hamilton was on 1 stop and was so heavy..

The difference was only 2 Laps i.e ~6kg fuel which might hamper his speed by not more than 0.2 sec.

- But overall his car is much faster than Webber's.
- He is compared to the likes of MSC/Senna. He is 'considered' better driver than Webber.

So given this situation he should have either pushed webber to make some mistake or could have passed him, also this track gives plenty of overtaking chances.

Also its his 2nd pitstop which helped him gain places :eek:hyeah: not his driving skills..

LMAO.. as if u were there secretly with the conspirators' syndicate

If hamilton would not have been penalised...If Hamilton had not had a bungled pit stop massa would be third ...mebbe 4th cause Heiki would have consumed him too :D

The difference between Hamilton and Kimi after race was 46 sec. Difference between Hamilton and Kubica 26 sec. Doesnt this give you any idea

Even if all the 21 cars on the track were stopped and Lewis was allowed to drive for 10seconds he still WOULD be 4th AT BEST (If Massa was there) and 3rd as massa was out..

You might argue that ok if he hadnt lost 10 secs.. He wouldnt be stuck behind Webber... But i am pretty sure then he would be stuck behind Trulli :eek:hyeah: :eek:hyeah: for whole race

lol dude...

You really need to relax :cool2:

Yesterday Ferrari COMMANDED Stewards to penalise Mclaren and today they conspired... :hap5:

After some time you might think they are using Airplane Jet Engines

Kimi was always faster than Massa in the race...

Even before the 1st pitstop ,Kimi had the fastest lap and he was under 1 sec of Massa, and If that wasnt enough.. As soon as Massa went in, Kimi had a flying lap and to add to that Massa's Inlap was slower than Kimi. And so he came out before Massa.

Without traction control, time to separate the drivers from the pedal pushers.

Aww, man. The FIA couldn't have gift wrapped this race and presented it to Ferrari any better than if they had just banned all the other drivers and yet, Massa still screwed it up for Ferrari with his silly little spin. What a disappointment! Had they pulled of the 1-2 finish, it would've been the greatest comeback in F1 history. When is Ferrari ever gonna learn?

More like, when is Massa going to learn that he needs a bit of finesse to succeed in F1.

This is really Ferrari''s lesson to learn. It's not like Massa intentionally chose to spin his car into the gravel. Massa "was" and as race after race has proven, "is" an excellent test driver which shows in his hard to match qualifying performances. What Ferrari should have done by now is pull him back to testing and give someone else a chance because Massa is clearly not up to mark when it comes to race day and when it matters most.

Also, I was pretty disappointed by the no show from McLaren. The conservative strategy they opted for really wasn't required as Hamilton was pulling off some pretty amazing lap times right before his pit stops.

Na Massa is a good driver.. We do the same mistake of judging someone too soon.. Last race we were arguing over Ferrari's engine woes, it was just one off day..

Massa is getting used to driving without traction and its taking him little bit of time so what, that doesnt mean he's any lesser of a driver..

Many of us might recall that last yr at this stage everyone were cursing kimi as he was falling behind.. He wasnt able to start the race that well.. Excessive driving errors... And everyone were like he was better off at Mclaren and he is not adjusting to Bridgestone and any possible reason that one can dig up with.. But once he got settled then rest his history ;)

Let give Massa couple of races more..:cool2:
