Facebook App Center for Web and Mobile Launched
Facebook has launched its App Center , a place where people get get free social applications for both web and mobile devices .
On the web , the app center will appear as collection of apps it , will give suggestions a based on app ratings and what your friends play . It will also have offer paid apps .
Each app will generally allow the user to install it as a Facebook application. However, a "send to mobile" will also appear if the app has a mobile app from either the Apple iOS App Store or else the Google Play store. In either case, the app can be sent to a user's phone and can be installed there. The apps will be accessible from the drop down menu button on the upper left .
In total, the App Center launched with 600 social apps, including Nike+ GPS, Ubisoft Ghost Recon Commander, Stitcher Radio, Draw Something, and Pinterest.
However , not all users will have access to the App Center immediately; Facebook will implement a phased rollout, although on a quicker pace than its launch of Timeline, a Facebook spokesman said. Only U.S. users will be able to access it, at least at first.
