Facebook on its devices (in India) as well main fb login PRIVACY/SECURITY settings everywhere changed to META.. (sounds to bloody not trustworthy)

FB has recently rebranded itself to Meta. It was going to be reflected in the apps sooner or later.

It's just their branding. They're not trustworthy regardless but this is just a branding switch up, nothing specifically wrong here. All their policies remain as they were.

They are on a mission to unf**k all the bad rep they got for the last few years by giving it a new name.

The rest remains the same, maybe some changes were done to make jobs easier for surveillance states to mine and harvest user data.

I wonder if Zucky is taking some lessons from our politicians like changing name of places magically brings development and everything bad is wiped off..

I was suprised how they without my knowledge uploaded my contacts to a fb (new account).
Went ahead and deleted that fb account it for gaming/fun
Using whatsapp on device 1
Added new fb account to PC and then to device 1
All contacts were uploaded from device 1 to fb new account !!!!!!!!!!

There are many loopholes in fb,even though facebook has been changing there options and policies yet it's not secure,like duplicate ID,friends of friend ,picture copying and your whole social data is there in that website or app year wise,month,date and time wise
Side ticker is also not available from a few years.
We must use 2 way security by using phone number and OTP.&also not sharing the password and the same
