No you dont have to format it. is there any autorun.inf in that drive? remove that
thank u all for ur replies....use comodo defence+(not for noobs). it will automatically warn u if some trojan is trying to install etc. but these rule based hips are not for noobs and quiet disturbing when they are in "learning phase".
and one more thing , use tweak ui to disable autoruns from all the drives.
Jaspreetrattan said:there is a quick way to get out of this.
- Open your drive through Winrar
- see in the root, you will definately find a file with this name "autorun.inf"
- delete it and also find misc. files like o3.exe,fetri.cmd,etc.delete that also.
- or post a screenshot of your files only through winrar , i will tell you which files to delete :hap2:
best of luck
