I have dell xps 1330 laptop with onboard x3100 GPU. I am currently using windows 7 x64 OS. I have installed latest graphics driver available on intel site.
Problem is that when i operate on battery. The screen suddenly fades i.e colors spreads on top of screen and screen looks dull for sometime and when i minimize and restore back the window it turns back to normal. This happens when there is change in appearance on screen i.e when i do scrolling among open windows screen fades and turn back to normal when moved to another window.
This happens only on battery as when operated on power supply it do not happen.
I have uninstalled graphics driver and installed it again. I aslo revert back to win vista to check whether it os problem and again installed win 7. But same problem.
What could be the reason?? Is the inverter on motherboard creating problem?
