Hi ,

I have two low cfm fans and 3 higher cfm fans present with me , i have connected the high cfm fans (90 cfm) 1 at side(exhaust) , 1 at front(intake) , 1 at top(intake) and 2 low cfm(40 i guess) 1 at side (exhaust) , 1 at top (intake)

Is what i have done the proper way to do it , if no please suggest a better setup i will try the combo and please tell the reason why for doing so ...
p.s:- The default fan which comes with Nzxt gamma is exhaust and i donno its cfm , and all the other fans mentioned are cooler master fans 90 cfm ones are led one and 40 cfm ones are normal ones

You have a very unconventional setup. Along with the CFM do mention the size of the fan too.. And your setup is not very clear..

Top - Intake - 2 fans - 1 high cfm and 1 low cfm

Side - Exausht - 2 fans - 1 high cfm and 1 low cfm

Front - Intake - 1 fan high cfm

Is that correct?? And by top you mean the top of the chassis or the back of the chassis?

Conventional way is to keep the front and side as intake and the top and back as exhaust. Hot air will raise up and keeping exhaust near the top will get the hot air out of the chassis. And i prefer to keep a high CFM fan as the intake/exausht cause the depth of the chassis is more than the width of the chassis. You can put the low cfm fans at the side as intake.

by top i mean top of the chassis.. the fan size are of 120 mm

Accordint to silverstone the method u suggested is not recommended since rear fan also exhausts and top fan wil also exhaust in ur case , right now top fan is intake and side fan exhaust

i have similar case and so far i have installed one intake fan at front for hdd.my hdd temp are 33-34 and i dont have installed any other fan.cpu has cooler master tx3 cooler and cpu temp is 34.

its athlon x4 635 at 2.9ghz.

what i wonder is motherboard temp hovers around 45 .

so where do i install another fan?

at top or at back?
