FB Pages sharing real photos of girls.

So one of my FB friend shared a pic of girl & it caught my attention, I checked this FB page which is sharing pics of real girls seems to copied from profile pics.

I have reported the page & I request you guys also to do the same.

It was same in orkut too & I have reported numerous such communities. There is nothing wrong in appreciating beauty, but these girls aren't some celebrities. These are real girls ! These mfc copying pics from FB profiles & sharing there, even with a question whether the girl is hot or not. You don't want to see photos of your friends / sisters / any_girl_you_know in such sick FB pages / communities.

Please do the needful. Thank you

What i say is that, why should gals post their pic in first place

I suggestion is ask your female relatives to avoid posting their pic, if they do not want they pic be tagged as hot, chick etc.

No one should have their pics useed for stupid stuff. Im with you in this battle. Get consent take pics. simple as that.

Who are you to say they shouldnt? Thats just downright stupid.
 
yea, the whole point of facebook is to put our face in the profile picture atleast.

I wonder if bringing strong copyrighted laws could help in sueing the sick administrators of these pages.

yea, thats the problem,

even after so many incidents innocent girls feel that whatever posted online can be removed at any time..

but what has been posted on the internet once, cannot be removed.

there's nothing we can do.. awareness programs does not seem to have much effect on refraining posting of such pictures
 
what i do is starting awareness at the lowest level - family. I generally explain the cons of making anything public, whether it be pic, any personal information etc.

Being an individual, that is what i can do

What do you mean by "exposed" pics ? If you can see that page, it hardly has any "exposed pics" except for the obvious naked ones.

And what century do you live in? would you stop women close to you from going out if there were idiots harrasing them or would you make sure those morons dont dare to harass them. Its the same thing.

And i think hardly any girl keeps their pics public, most are just restricted to friends.
 
I see girls acting very modest in real life but very different online. I don't know the real reason, but I guess everyone thinks anything on the internet is not as serious as in real life. Keep your pics visible only to your trusted friends, it's your problem if those friends betray you and take your pics and post them at other places. It's the same as in real life, choose your friends wisely, even the ones on fb.

That's the rule of the internet, not restricted just for girls. Every one thinks the Internet is a free run. We have the Mods here to keep that in check but many platforms don't, like youtube etc... People say stuff they wouldn't normally in real life (not speaking as a rule)
 
Asking not to post there pics is like asking girls/women don't wear attractive clothes in public. Just a few days back, there was a thread posted on TE describing delhi police's views on women.

This thread is going on similar lines. Only thing is that one doesnt know whom to catch hold of.

The only difference here is that these girls are in control of who they befriend and who sees what they post online. They are similar topics, but the girls are in charge here, they can avoid it if they can.
 
#[member='avi'] i totally agree with you on this and i too reported the page but believe me its of no use. If this one goes down another will be created. Its as simple as that.

@all why even debate on what girls/women post? There is no bar on anyone what to post or what to say or what to wear etc etc. It can't be stopped likewise these creeps like the owner of this page can't be stopped.
