Hi
I have some stuff of an AT system just lying around. It's pretty much junk as far as I'm concerned, but maybe someone has a use for it. It's free, but I'm only entertaining pickups. Udit's post on this board reminded me that I was about to throw them in the gutter. They are almost all working though, and the surplus could help somebody missing that one part or piece.
1. CPU - Celeron 700 MHz, without cooler. Not sure, but I don't think this thing works. Can make a good keychain or wall ornament. Gone.
2. RAM - 64MB (I think, could be 128, don't really know without referring to it and it's dumped around somewhere I really am not sure about) Gone.
3. Two motherboards of 810 chipset. Udit already has first dibs on these, I'm taking them down to Cal in March if he wants. He needs one, so if you want one you can pick it up after I'm back.
4. Baby AT case with removable tray, and all bits and cables to connect one board to the outside world. Gone!
5. AT power supply - 230 watts. This thing defintiely works properly. Gone!
6. 40GB Seagate hard disk. It spins up, but for some strange reason, has become password locked. I don't have the energy to go around trying to get it fixed, I tried unlocking through all sorts of software techniques, but it needs an expert. Gone
7. 5 pieces of 3" satellite speaker drivers, in perfect working condition. These are pulled from a set of 5.1 speakers I have upgraded with new Peerless drivers. If your satellites are busted, these will make good replacements. Or could be used to assemble a full set of 5.1 speakers. Gone.
8. 2 8" poly-coned Bolton woofer drivers. Please take them off my hands. Paired with the above, some cheap cabinets, and an amp, could make a nice set of 5.1 that sounds pretty expensive. Gone with the wind!!
9. A codegen (yuck!) 400 watt (yeah, right!) ATX PSU. This thing actually powers a 6800GT and a couple of hard disks fine, so not much wrong with it. Gone.
10. Nothing for sale, just makes it look a little better if there are 10 things on a list!
All the stuff is on as-is-where is basis. Need to be picked up. I am sorry, but I will ignore completely any requests to ship them anywhere. I live in Bandra, so the best thing is to come and pick them up. Also no warranty, tested or otherwise, and no dibs. This is a junkyard, whoever lands up first gets the stuff. Make the most of the long weekend, guys!
I am also putting up a sale thread for some really good hardware, all at throwaway prices, pretty soon. Look out for that over the weekend or Monday.
