Owing to the extreme heat in Delhi, i want to get a sunscreen film put on my swift. The idea is to get an effective film with minimum tint. The film should be as transparent as possible yet offering the best sunscreen.

I usually drive in excess of 50km a day. Are there any good fuel additives that can help in increasing the mileage and/or maintaining the engine.

oh, and im also looking for a good leather cleaner for my 320i.

any suggestions for these?

thanks.

What you're looking for in terms of film is possible with the new nano ceramic ones. Comparatively expensive though!

I got Garware film 50% tint in front windscreen for Rs.500 (shrinked to size w/ some machine) and ~Rs.250 for both side. This was from those big rolls, from which they cut out whatever size is required.

Garware also has boxed sets for different car's. They are slightly expensive, ~1-1.5k I think.

All of these, the rolls as well as the boxed ones, both are SRC (Scratch resistant).

Dunno about the ceramic ones. does anyone know how much they cost?

recently installed Llumar tints on the sides and rear of my zen and am very satisfied with it, i suggest you get atleast llumar installed, if you have deep pockets then you can get something more expensive from the likes of 3m

whole thing including vf70 for the front would set you back by about 6-8k

RTO approved specs are 50% visibulity atleast on the sides and rear and 70% visibility for the front

how much do the llumar tints cost?

I need new tints for the front + sides owing to the scorching sun in delhi.

I got garware one (50%for sides while 70% for back) in 650 bucks only in Gurgaon...but after these films my glasses look tinted..

I know that these are RTA approved but still if cops stop you, you can not argue with them and they can tear off the film (happened with some of my friends) . will suggest you to go with ceramic ones if you can afford. (I have no idea about the price)

if you have the budget , get V Kool. A friend got his civic done up with V-Kool VK-70 for 36.5k (Way pricey imho :ashamed: , but he says its worth it)

Five years warranty against anything except intentional destruction free :P

thanks.. what about the leather cleaner for the bmw? and the fuel additives for the swift.. its the petrol one..

BEST LEATHER CLEANER - Leather CPR

Tried: 3M, Meguiar's, LEXOL, AbelAuto, ArmorAll(Good for Fabric/Art), Stanley, Mr. Leather, Amway(Cheap and Good), MOTOMAX(dont use on pure leather)

Im not sure where to source any of these in delhi though :) As for the fuel additive, i doubt anyone would recommend anything since everyone seems to say that they are just a gimmick.

if you think premium fuels are a gimmick, then you'd probably say the same about additives. Personally I've had good results with Iftex system D ( but it works wonders only on older tata engines), and a guy i know is running his Swift Zxi with system G says its good. heck, its cheaper than buying premium fuels :p
