My card is idling at 55c... Onload it reaches 78c :)

Your idle temperatures are way too high. Ideally it should be between 40 -45. Your load temperatures are good. Run furmark or Kombustor or even metro 2033 to get worst-case temperatures.

my cabby is not very well ventilated and i have kept the cabby under the table thats the reason why the GPU is idling at 55c
