Graphic Cards Finally buying GPU, but still confused

^^ Get EVGA 9600GTO which is more than enuff for gaming at 17" and ur CPU wont be a bottleneck for this card.

I have a E2180@ 3ghz with msi 4850 playing on a LG 17" CRT i get 35+ FPS in crysis1 on high setting without AA.All other games i max out no problems here:hap2:.Get the 4830 i think it overclocks well u dont even need the 4850:hap5:.Even i didnt listen to the gurus here and got myself The 4850:no:

i hv almost made my mind on wat to do...

just one last question...

A fren just randomly suggested this to me, so wanted to confirm its practical application...

i asked my relative in US to courier me the card ( with open seal and saying its a B day present ), he'll confirm the shipping charges in a day or so...

is this possible....?? like are there any issues in this, like custom and clearance....

has ANY1 of u tried this earlier ???

No need to prove !! its already known truth HD 4870 512MB is more faster than GTX 260 , but core 216 makes GTX 260 worth than HD 4870 512MB , but PALIT HD 4870 1GB sure beats the GTX 260 core 216

^ 4870 1G performs identical with core 216. Some games favour 216 and others 4870..
You can't go wrong with either of them.

At Rs 10,857 is a great VFM and dual edition is no less if not more than 260 core.

I have gotten a Corei7 worth 32000 thru customs for free. Ask him to mark as gift and ship through normal Postal Service. If it gets stuck, go to the customs office, grease palms a bit and get it through.

Also the GTX260 is 13500 in India. Why bother?? It anyway beats the 4870 hands down. The 4870 for 11K might be worth it, but consider

1) 2 Weeks wait for package

2) No warranty

3) KMD anyway sells for around 12

4) If u have to goto customs, its a day wasted and atleast 1 or 2K anyway.
