PC Peripherals Finally got my rig yesterday!!

lol, asking if a 4k cab is justified on a forum where lotsa members have 10k+ cabs is moronic, to say the least. The extra cost is very much justified for the better airflow, tool free installation, better build material, better looks....etc. etc.

Not be offensive, but it does get on my nerves when ppl start questioning purchase decisions after the purchase without any valid reason except cost/vfm.

I mean, why buy a ferrari when you can get maruti 800???

Enjoy your purchase, kalesh. If you're satisfied with your purchases, it's vfm :hap2:

AMI told me... dont have motherboard..and other stuff...

yea .. I think he charged me a bit more.. on CPU and PSU..

P5N-E-SLI is 6.25k?.. I asked like 3-4 dealers here..all quoted like 6.8-7k.

Well maybe thats the price anyone pays for being new in a city which doesn't have any good hardware outlets.

But im really confused as wat led u 2 choose p5ne-sli..
u shld hv gone for a P35.. ;)

@kalesh: can you do something - run the 3dmark06 benchmark and post your score here, with no overclock. i am getting a score of around 11,900 at standard clocks, wanted to check if the mobo and/or ram makes any diff... your cpu is 3ghz while mine is 2.4 that will probably help...

doh, i didnt notice other details like cpu score, just the main 3dmark06 score :( don't want to mess with the clocks anymore for the moment, will try it again next weekend. but note that my ram only went up from 800 to 835 (2:3 fsb ratio to 4:5) coz its regular transcend jetram - not good for OC, so i doubt the cpu score would climb too much :)
