yeah and this is awesome news,
hope this person elaborates more and within a year we get to play games on a ps3 like this

Yes it is real, yes I know how it has been done, No it is NOT convenient to use at all.
Finally it only works with a few games, it can easely be fixed by sony in any future firmware update, and of course it wont allow anyone to run any kind of unsigned code.
 
yes yall are right that it can be fixed by sony. but the point yall are missing is that the exploit has been found. that is all that was needed for so long. so whatever firmware sony will release they too will get hacked just like it did on the psp.

what was taking so long was to find an exploit.
 
Take note that it mentions that you would need at least 2x 250gb hdd's for just 1-2 games, that is a substantial amount of hdd space. If you have to keep buying more hdd space to keep them on, then you might as well just buy the games ;)
 
Wooo....piracy on the PS3. The final nail needed in the coffin that is the PS3's, and after Sony's done with the Playstation brand, we can all join hands and proceed to blaming MS for their ruthless business practices.
