Finally shifted to X58 with 920 D0

Hi frnds,

After going through some thoughts , I have finally moved to X58 setup :ohyeah: ....and bought core i7 920 D0 from nehru place, GA X58 UD5, OCZ 6GB 1600Mhz and 1366 bracket for thermalright ultra extreme...

And I m getting good results from the setup in terms of overclocking, gaming, day to day applications ...

I hv oc my core i7 920 to 4.2ghz :D with 1.344 vcore with ht off and using 4.0ghz for 24x7 with 1.312 vcore , totally loving the x58 overall :D ....











And overclocking is easy with x58 and 920 D0 are overclocking very well ..havent tried much but 4.2ghz is good with 1.36(bios) vcore



Total damage - 16k after selling my old parts ....

yeah sidhu i tried but somehow not properly done .....waiting for thermaltake series otherwise will go for HAF 932 or 922

@H D core i7 920 D0 and GA X58 are in nehru place but bought only proccy from there , bought mobo from phoenix and ram from memoryc ...came in with in 3 days..
 
Individual prices -

i)Core i7 920 D0 - 15.1k from nehru place

ii) GA X58 UD5 - 17.5k from Phoenix

iii) OCZ 6gb 1600 mhz - 7.6K from memoryc.com

But total damages after selling my previous parts was 16k
 
here comes the DO-STEPPER :)

congrats sir :) first DO stepping on TE i think :)

and that oc is nothing short of superb :)
