FIREFOX CAN NOW USE AND MAYBE SELL YOUR DATA

I use FF for personal use only and don't like login to gmail so it doesn't sync my activities to gmail but I did get adds on mobile so the only logical reason I could come up is gmail.
I use Brave for work purpose and it does the job but can't say it does what I tell it like my settings says to remove all logins and data when I close browser which it does but I can still see similar recommendations on youtube from previous login session (correct me if its due to youtube sensing private mode of brave from same IP/Computer? )

I think you need to turn off activity tracking from your Google account settings in order to completely turn off youtube tracking.

Unless you turn off data sharing with Google, it will retain all your search and also fingerprint it to your device. If you are using an Android device with the same account, then that data will be used to serve ads.

Another librewolf user here; actually works fine for the 95% of the sites, I browse. For the remaining 5%, I keep a Chrome install.

Librewolf has always been much more unstable than Firefox. I had switched to Zen Browser which is based on Firefox code as well few weeks ago and find it to be stable, though I opted for it because it also supports Firefox Sync.

It works pretty stable for me. Yes, it is more restrictive disabling a lot of functionality which can potentially lead to tracking and fingerprinting etc. No crashes or anything but every now and then, one or two odd sites would not open, which I can live with.
All of my required plugins work. I don't use sync.

Its off and I only login through private mode on desktop.

Haven't turned on sharing for more than a decade.
 
I use firefox with u-block origin on desktop for online payments etc. My daily driver for browsing is either chrome or brave.

I use opera with the built in vpn to bypass a few sites that are dns blocked by the isp. Have been testing vivaldi these past few weeks and I like it.
One thing that I have done with all browsers is that there is no sync enabled, nor have I signed into any gmail or outlook account to sync book marks etc.
Google keeps track of which searches you have made etc in case you are already signed into the account via chrome or any other browser.

All my email is opened via pop3 and imap on Thunderbird on the desktop.

On android phone I use the paid soul browser and 1dm+ paid browser with built in adblocks.
