CPU/Mobo First AM3+ Listing in India

Still a long wait as ASUS is no longer trusted brand here because of RASHI.

WAs about to get llano but than again the socket support in future looks doubtfull to me.

I thought ASUS was setting up their own centers for warranty claims, i think its called the ASUS royal club (or something like that).

Pls correct me if I am wrong
 
I am waiting for gigabyte for and boards.

As far as I know, its still rashi for service support.

Llano I agree it is indeed unique socket but amd would have newer chip coming out on that platform also they never forced new chipset for new cpu. At least for 2 3 gen current mobo socket should work.

^^ Rashi does the A.S.S, for ASUS and has had a history of peripherals given for RMA -- being lost, damaged, missing while in transit... etc. So that is why ASUS is not everybody's top choice during a recommendation in a configuration, just due to the amazing antics of Rashi Peripherals.

Yup, this is true. At least in Bangalore. Asus have their own service center called Asus Royal club near SP Road. So, no need to deal with Rashi anymore.
