Yes. The eWallet is a VISA credit card. Permanent card number is provided(unlike HDFC NetSafe and SBI VCC where card no changes every time you create one).
Check PM and Can we withdraw money via PayPal to the B2 Account or a Normal Savings A/c is required for that ?

If you add your B2 account to Paypal(the B2 account is a normal Savings account), any money that you receive via Paypal will directly be tranferred to your bank account.

There is only one VCC provided. Permanent number. You cannot change the card number. Neither can you regenerate it. It is like a permanent credit card.
Transferring money from your B2 main balance to eWallet takes only 1 minute.(minimum money that can be loaded into the eWallet has to be greater than or equal to Rs.500)

Okay Great that means for PayPal i don't need any other account or card @ all !! The B2 is enough for sending/receiving funds online !!

What i meant to know was if i transfer funds from my existing bank account to the B2 account to load it via NEFT (since there is no other way) then how many hours or days does that take ?

Normal NEFT limitations as stipulated by RBI apply.
8AM to 8PM window. Transactions cleared in batches. Takes usually 3-4 hours for transfer.
I have not yet tried to use IMPS to transfer to B2. With IMPS, the money transfer will be instant.

What is IMPS ?

Not worth it if you are going to use Paypal frequently..
Just called ICICI and they will came to your home and do all the process for saving account opening for you and just start using it next day for paypal..
You called ICICI ? Normal savings or B2 ?

Forgot to mention this point. A person from ICICI will come and take all documents from you. No need to go to the branch.

As far as I remember, they wanted to come earlier but I asked them to come on a saturday.
Account will get activated pretty quickly(5-7 working days) but you will not be able to use eWallet until you get the security card(a debit card like card which has 16 double digit numbers on the back. Used for authenticating transactions). It will come via courier. I got it 10-15 days after my account was activated.

@Willer : Sorry, was away for some days, couldn't reply. Yes, for activating a PayPal account and receive money any debit card will work, by any I mean Mastercard and VISA. No idea about those new Rupay ones!

Wise decision thinking about opening an ICICI account. Account opening will take around 10 days, if not less. Actually the account will be opened within 3/4 days, but as the above user said, the Debit card will take time to come. But you will be given the internet banking user id / password instant, with which you will be able to check if that opening cheque you are gonna give to ICICI for account opening is cleared or not. As soon as that cheque clears, your account is good to go.

In here ahmedabad, account open with in a day and you will get all necessary documents including debit card and net banking details everything on the spot...
You can use it from next day without any problem...
