The onboard graphics on an RS480 board will work alongwith a normal graphics card as long as the card is made by ATI. If its a non ATI card, it wont work.

but how good r they compared to 915g

Its X300SE equivalent.Should be a bit better,I won't game on it though(not that I have time for gaming right now anyway).
Okay a 10% stable oc is what I got.

so u telling it decent for that price bracket and onboard graphics also better than 915g in terms of graphic and value for money.

If I had to buy a board separately I wouldn't buy this for sure. But after 10% overclock(albeit via a software tool) I can't say that I'm too disappointed with it either.

2.42Gs of S939 power is still mighty brute force.

I won't use the on-board video for long,it kills the memory performance for one and uses precious ram for another.Probably order a $150 PCI-E card(waiting for the new gen mid-range cards) a few weeks down the line once the damn bank sends my debit card along!

so dude did u find the overclocking stable. And did u find the method to save ur
overclock settings along with the start up in win xp.( i think u used clockgen right) any heating issues, u encountered.

BTW, what RAM is in your system?? I know it cannot be some quality RAM like OCZ or Mushkin or something..... but what is it..... And why don't you oc that too and post the results??

Hmmn...., Good idea there i am seriously looking forward to combine this mobo with a venice 3000+ .After coming up on this forum now i am inspired

to buy a desktop, again, otherwise i stopped desktops and did all my work on

sometimes my dads gateway p2 400, my fujitsu p3-500, and my latest lappy being p4-2.4 toshiba satellite and an old lying p3 desktop 450 which is getting a stepmotherly treatment and recently upgraded its graphics to fx5200.:@

So, what u say dudes if i only want the best onboard graphic board sud i see any further or this is the board i am looking for.

LOL That card is as hopeless as the X300 SE. But yes if you want a nf4 system thats the best deal, though I would prefer a cheap PCI card for the temp period.

Decent enough config there undertaker but i feel its way too overpriced. And after spending nearly 900 $ ,you get MSI RS480 board, not a good deal i guess.Even a Chaintech NF4 Ultra could have fitted your budget.

Its not overpriced ,the listed price on newegg excludes shipping and taxes when u take that into account I paid a premium of only about $50.The 'list' price for this pc was $679.

Yeah I know that but time was also a big factor.

About OC'ing:the processor runs @2.42ghz(effectively 3800+) at stock voltage and the ram(infineon not samsung,my mistake) does 220Mhz(3-3-3-6) too at stock. So things can only get better as and when I get a nf4 mobo. The integrated graphics are good with NFSU:2 playing surprisingly well. And as I said I had little patience now coz without a PC u r effectively disconnected from the rest of the world.

Guys howz the 6600LE.Seems inspiring for only $100 or so and oc's like a bomb.
Better stick with the onboard for now and spend later when Nv and ATi release their full line-up. The LE aint worth it imho.

Nope..... not the 6600 LE.... as Blade said, wait for sometime... you could get a better graphics card soon at a cheaper price than today....
