I know I might be opening a can or worms which just start to crawl all over but I had to share this o observation

A few of you know I am trying to get into the high bitrate music streaming on my utterly humble and simple music setup.. Have asked numerous queries and shared a few things as well..

All this while I have been hell bent on listening to my music in lossless as much as possible.. Converted a lot of my own cds to flac and shamelessly downloaded music of my taste that I could lay my hands on.... (thanks to a couple of great guys here who linked me to some rare trackers)

After listening for more than a year and comparing closely I can on my part safely say that 320kbps mp3 just can't satiate my ears...
Flac wins every single time..
The crisp, detailed audio with enough depth is only possible with flac ( for as far as my setup goes..)

There is a possibility that it's just my setup that is unable to play mp3 files with that much clarity so I am open to the suggestions, criticism and all..

I have done listening tests by converting flac files to 320kbps mp3 and listening to them.. Sometimes downloaded same file in mp3 and flac from different sources as well to compare..

My simple setup which includes
an ext hdd /which stores all my flac files) connected to my archer c5 usb port,
(the intermediary is vlc app on my android phone via which I access the files and play them) and then cast it to
Google chromecast audio via wifi through
(smb or dlna whatever you may call it) and from Cca analogue output to my
fosi bt20a pro amplifier
And then to my Sony passive speakers..

I am by and large satisfied with my setup.. Might add a cheap DAC in future but one with atkest an akm chip to further fine tune the music...
