but i wonder if they offer the U3 functionality....with u3 u can carry around ur favorite u3 compatible applications wherever u go...if they do that wud be gr8 too...

sandisk cruzer micro u3 4Gb wud probably cost arnd 1400-1500 max.

I just saw a colleague's sandisk micro u3 drive. plugged into my pc...whoa the u3 interface looked cool. with a nice antivir prog, password manager, securiy features etc. it did made me think abt getting a 4gb one for myself.

Sorry to hear that bro :mad: but good that we have at least have fast USB drives coming to India. Btw, turbo USB must be some form of lazy write i.e. it may appear to have written all the data but the write might still be in progress...I don't know...just guessing here. Anyways, as long as you don't pull out the USB stick immediately, it should be ok.

went to valli computers, he has RUF2-E2G-B (2GB) but not RUF2-E2G-K (2GB).

packing also was in bringel color and not in red as shown in hacker review,

also packing says imported by some company of delhi. dont remember the name exactly, made in nakoya, japan

now totally confused what to buy

was that a fake one? Valli Computers is their authorised dealer!!!!

One more thing on the packing there were lot of symbols, I suppose that was something written in Japanese.
 
There might be a difference in their speeds and I dont understand japanese either. They have a brochure in the shop that lists the speeds for each model of the pen drives they sell. Take a look at that next time. Also, tell him the exact model number and he will procure it for you.

will surely checkout the brochure, and will ask him to precure RUF2-E2G-K (2GB) , I love the BLACK color,

BTW there is no difference between the two.

RUF2-E Series

Both are listed under same category.

Its the series which defines the speed, like CS, CL, EL, E and LD.

BK, B, K, PK, GR etc defines the color. you can check it on the link.
