^^MacBook Air - Check apple website

I personally won't spend 1 Lakh for a laptop after my experience ( I bought mine for 1.06L). You should be ok with a decent config laptop..

#[member='aakanshaa'] I would suggest you stick with windows laptop if you aren't acquainted with mac as another member described , you might have compatibility issues

Also , you should check the local stores there are a lot of great options (HP probook , samsung ultrabook , high end vaio S, Z series etc.) at that price range , and decide between weight/screen coz portability should also be considered

I completed my MBA for a reputed college 2 years back

1) You won't get time to watch lot of movies. May be once in a while

At the end, i enjoyed my MBP but ended up doing a lot of work rather than movies or gaming

I did my MBA from a "top 25" B school, found plenty of time to watch movies (and watch the full seasons of Big bang theory, HIMYM, house, Suits, Sherlock) drive all around the state, have a rather active social life, Win one and come 2nd runner up in our CS tourneys and manage being in placecom and be a fest organizer

When I started my MBA, i thought I'd follow in #superczar 's footsteps and be a busy bee. But I still managed to have my cake and eat it too

I did rack up a lot of sleep debt (I've been doing nothing other than sleep for the last one month waiting for my DOJ)

If the lady in question has not bought a machine yet, look at the dell xps 15z. Dell support = amazing. While my friends with HP's were roaming around looking for service centers, dell's support would come to our hostel

not sure about him, but my Inspiron 15R's HSF has been replaced 3 times due to similar issues. they said dell's policy is if the same thing needs to be changed more than 3 times, then a replacement will be given. I'm on year 2 of my 3 year CC. I spoke to a local service rep who came to replace my monitor ( which i broke when I was moving back home - and got replaced for free). he said that dust tends to get into the HSF Fan and slows it down = hot CPU

I used to keep a 70mm Fan outside the vents on the left side and it used to bring down temps hugely when I was facing the issue

I guess the OP has had issues, but I've had an excellent experience, and as long as they treat me right, I can't complain.

No harms meant.. I did it from top 7, may be that's the difference.. I am a movie buff, but hardly watched movies except at 2nd year internship time..
