Formula One - San Marino Grand Prix 2006

Well dude.. I know abt Live timings just that its so boring all the time looking at that table. Anyways Schumi takes a much deserved First after a long time!! Stupid Kimi didnt make it to top 3.
 
Right now shoemaker is leading alonso by .2 seconds after 37 laps.. with one pit stop coming right up.

He wont win the race.. he is struggling.

Awesome drive i must say, to hold off Alonso like that for such a long period of time even when Alonso was faster, best race of the season so far if u ask me :D
 
i couldn't watch the race.. watched a few laps toward the end.. watching Renault glide on the circuit (in comparision schumi's ferrari looked struggling in the corners) was magical :D
 
awesome race i must say, most of it with alonso vs. michael battle. alonso's car was undoubtedly the best but the micheal's drive defending frm alonso lap after lap was something extraordinary. cheers to the winner!

descent race frm the mclarens but they visibly lacked the pace.
 
Im a schumi fan and im happy he won, buut somehow i just get the feeling that this is a case of um race-fixing?

I mean alonso ran 5 laps more than schumi during the first stop and put in the same amount of fuel(both had taken abt 8 secs of fuel). When the second round of stops came around im sure he had more fuel than schumi, and it was proved byt the fact that he took about a second less fuel than schumi( he took abt 6 secs vs schumi's 7). So why did he stop before schumi??? Why? To let schumi win would be the obvious answer. He was much faster than schumi before the stop and if he had stopped even a lap later he would have won for sure. Maybe im wrong, maybe im not but this is what i got the feeling.

How canpeople be so stupid.. they just manipulate things to humiliate others.. LOSERS
 
truly a "thrilla' in imola". superb pitstop strategy by ferrari. the race picked up speed with 26 laps remaining and from there on it was impossible for me to take my eyes away from the monitor. add to that the thrilling commentary and it was enough to make my hair stand on its edges and my heart beat faster. even the star sports people were so engrossed they forgot to air some commercials in between. what a superb effort by alonso to pile some pressure on schumi and push him and an even more stellar effort from the veteran to fend off the pressure and win the race. even though alonso blew it when 2 laps were remaining when he hit the curb and drove wide to widen the gap and allowing schumi to win easily. truly one of the best F1 races i've seen in a long long time.:cool2:

Awesome Race!

Schumi vs. Alonso battle was really really awesome. The way micheal defended with an inferior car was just awesome. I was hooked in the screen from 30 Laps onwards. Couldnt bare the commercial breaks :|.

and regarding the race fixing well u obviously didnt saw the post race interview, Alonso said they pit early to try and gain an advantage over Ferrari but it didnt work... :p

Yea thats what im talking about. If they wanted to do that they should have done it a couple of laps before. Alonso was catching schumi at 1.5 secs a lap then. And they would have gotten a much bigger advantage by running more laps after schumi pitted than pitting before schumi. Didnt u read Flav's statement "If Ferrari win, it is good for F1". What do u think that means.
 
Well you think that if you would pull my leg then I would delete the post. There is more to me than that. Dont worry I wont get that low ever. Your post would get deleted only if it doesnt follow the rules. At least I make sure of that.
