I am a bit confused , regarding the number of "HDD Molex Connectors"
AX500-A has just 4 Molex Connectors.

The FSP AX500-A Blue Storm
IS same as the AX500-A Grey one which we are getting.
But it has more number of HDD Molex connectors "8"

I wanted to recomfirm this , even my old 160W PSU has 4HDD Molex connectors.
Are you sure that it has just 4Molex connectors.

Hi Quad Master,
AX500-A here is out standard OEM version without blue paint. and, the connector is as described by the thread, HDD Molex Connectors - 4; FDD connector - 1. And, the price is cheaper than Newegg.

But, I think electrical specification and DC output ratings should be more important and decisive in your desire to buy.
And the shap is nearly the same as you saw on FSP website, except the cable harness. the cable harness has to do with cost and customized requirement from the customer.

Y-splitters are easily available at lamington. In fact my dealer doesnt even charge me for it :). However the best bet would be to get the sleeved AX500-A which has more molexes and sata connectors. Worth the extra 5$ I believe.
