hmm..i dunno the exact cost, but it'll be cheaper than newegg prices...thats all i can say for now.

Update :

They are now ready to send 10 pieces of AX500-A for us right now...just for TE members only :D what say?

it will take a bit of time to say the total cost (IIRC, 50USD + shipping from taiwan) so please hang on.....

Okay...it'll be roughly 80$ per PSU including customs, shipping from taiwan and all...

please guys, tell me exactly how much you want...the more PSUs, the cost will reduce :D

Its highly doubtful we'll get warranty here for it....

I want one, Headshot wants one. Please confirm your PSUs rightaway :)

Couldn't care less about warranty - majority of my components have no (easily enforceable or otherwise ) warranty anyways ! You can count me in for now !

The AX500-A is indeed a good mid-range PSU - http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10854&page=1&pp=15, and for all inclusive $80 it's a steal. Is that the only one among the FSPs which also goes by the name Blue Storm ?

Is AX500-A the only one that you could get to order ? I'm a li'l concerned because it has just 15A on the 12V rails. And there is always this question, which I haven't seen anybody address convincingly may be bcoz it could vary with the manufacturer/model, which is whether the AMPs from the 2 split rails add up or could one rail potentially pick up slack from the other.

The FSP550-60PLN, an EPS12V and w/ a lower efficiency though, looks better AMP-wise -> 18A on 12V rails (though I'm not sure about PCI-E and SATA connectors etc.):

Dont worry abt the quality of this psu and those rail ratings. Most overclockers treat this psu(blue storm) as a better one than the antec 550W truepowers and as good as the ocz powerstream. So after PCP&C, fortron is the most respected psu maker ;). I'm buying it blindly.... especially at that killer price :D

Yeah, I didn't realize it was the Blue Storm till I checked dfi-street. You know this guy ExRoadie there, I think he swears by this PSU.

BTW, where are you getting the TP V2 from ? Do you know anything that I dunno about :p !

^^^ It might not be bluestorm, but the plain jane grey ones.....

i'm asking him if he can get you specially :p a FSP 550W...hang on....

EDIT : Yes..if u want jedimaster, i can get u a FSP 550W even,.....

Wow ! that's great - even if it means a bloated price !

Sunny could you ask him whether the 550W EPS12V is worth all the trouble over the AX500...PLEEEASE ! I don't care if it is SLI certified or not ! Simply need one that will be most suitable for overclocking !

You the Man...Sunny :p !

EDIT: OOPS ! Was posting at the same time ! Heck ! No problems ! Count me in for the FSP AX500-A - Blue or Grey Storm or whatever ! Lemme know how you need the payment to be arranged and i I could help in anyway ! Thanks for all the effort Sunny !

Sunny give me some time to decide.
When are u placing ur orders.

Also the 500 one has
Eight 4 pin Molex connections, one floppy, 2 SATA, a 4 & 6 pin 12v ATX, and main ATX plug.

Also wud like to confirm sunny are we getting a 24Pin or 20Pin
- also if we are getting a 24Pin are they providing a 24 to 20 Pin Conv
- also if we are getting a 20Pin are they providing a 20 to 24 Pin Conv

@JediMaster - arent 31A on 12V rails sufficient to you. 15A 12V1 + 16A 12V2
Also whats a advantage of 550 over 500 is it really needed.

OK ! Too much cross-talk !

$100 is fine - but you really need to help me with this - is 550W better than AX500-A ? I think it is probably - but please check. I have the feeling that it prolly has no pci-e connectors !
EDIT : WHICH is BETTER for OC-ing ? I want to hear it from that FSP guy :p !
