Pseudo Admin Can we have "Ideal" as the default for logged in and non logged in users ? The transition from the hideous default theme to Ideal every time I log in is a little irritating and painful at times, due to the fact that many features are inconsistent on both these themes, and a lot of it is missing on the default one. Like the missing page numbers on top.

To your first question, no. Which features are not consistent that make your login process irritating and painful?
 
I type techenclave.com > forum opens with the default theme > click on a thread, goes to the first page > then I realise, I have finished going through it till page 8 > I don't see page navigation on top, have to come to the bottom (old habit due to previous theme) > click on page 8 > there I see somebody has an attachment in their post in page 8 > now I log in > bam ! theme changes, the layout is changed and certain elements on top of the page are moved from their initial position > I continue with my browsing > automatic log out > bam ! again, back to the default theme > I don't see the navigation now > log in again >>>>>>>>>>>> This is just one example. Flipping from one theme to another is the irritating and at times painful process.
 
Renegade Why don't you change this on footer?

I would love to do that, but for some reason it automatically logs me out, something like every 20-30 minutes. Sometimes when I am writing a long reply, I am already logged out in the background, and then I hit "post reply", it takes me to the login page again. Now all that I had typed is lost and don't feel like typing it all again. Is there a setting somewhere in my account to change it ? that I have not noticed.
 
Its right there when you login, its called "remember me". Just check that box before hitting login.
 
A dark skin is available for use and feedback now. It is still not 100% complete so are areas which I have not touched yet. You can report the issues here and I will fix them as I get time.

Even the default skin has been modified slightly to better suit the eyes. So if some of you can use and let me know your views.
 
Just using it and so far its looking good and got relief at last from the old white themes.

Minor Improvement needed:-
The posting time is in grey, would suggest to make it white or skyblue.
The mods name appear in dark blue color which looks very blunt. Correct it to either orange or green variants.

Rest will suggest as i surf further.

** And what about the previous themes which you were going to implement here for which you gave us some choices to choose from last month? Are we ever going to see them on TE? Do update on this.
 
We have already installed Ideal which was the top choice. The dark themes were not really well done and lacked attention to detail so it did not make sense to waste money on someone's half efforts.

Default theme is much better now with the addition of floating page/navigation bar.

I agree with nRiTeCh, to make posting time as white. Also buttons look too simple and it would be better to have white font and mix blue+greyish button color just like forum navigator top header.

You can try the default skin again. As others have noted, the pagination has been made more convenient to access.
