I meant BSNL-> BSNL (Which basically means, all landlines) are free calling 24x7 ;)

I can talk for 24x7x365 to one number paying the monthly rental (Rs. 195 or something)
 
definately too good to be true....

must be something like zero rental scheme... wit 100mb/month free... and extra usage charged at 1re/mb. in urban areas and 50 paise/mb in rural areas.

Ehh I did, and I topped my school in Geo for the boards ;)

I know, but I just mentioned Ireland as an example, its probably smaller than Maharashtra heh.
 
if they say 2009...i guess well have it by 2015...because when they promised dsl and cable net...it took 5 more yrs than the time they said

^^Wifi throughout the country is not gonna work.They must be planning to introduce newer tech. like wimax or something.

First let them give 2mbps @1200 bucks. That would be more realistic target for the government within the next 2-3 years.
 
freaking BS stuff... >.< i completely agree with techno_funky and moreover they have somewat similar option termed as "Budget Connection" ROTFLMAO for a 256K line atm Pay for as much as MBs u use 2rs per Mb/Data download > 250MB then 1.40 per MB... theres no price specified >>>....<<<

Even if the govt. currently has plans to offer such schemes, the big private ISPs in the country would offer govt. ministers huge bribes not to introduce any such schemes.So it will be over even before it starts.

If UPA win again, than they ask alias to raised voice against the FREE and show how govt. will face loss if they provide FREE SERVICE (broadband) and how they gain if provide with less charges than what currently we pay (i.e. in 2007).

And though GOVT. success to Offer free broadband than Pvt. sector Jaints Bharti, Sify, TATA etc. parcel MITHAI to related Minister and UPA CHAIR PERSON and all project will be gone in DUST BIN.:@

Bad News- what I expect is come true early

TRAI impose some Taxes and Licence FEES on Broadband Service Provider which may hike Broadband rate by 6% minimum.

just read on rediff RBI may impose Rs.50/- EXTRA charge for Hight Value Checks.

And this is the Situation just 48 hrs after UP Poll over - now no Party CARE/NEED voters any more - Wait for More Taxes and Hike in all Sectors.
