Viewsonic, the visual technology display provider, has recently introduced a new wide-screen LCD series, which includes 19-inch wide VA1912w/wb, 20-inch VX2025wm and 23-inch VP2330wb. It also announced an end-user program in India on its wide LCDs from June 5 to July 9 offering W2201 webcam for free on every purchase.
Alan Chang, general manager, Viewsonic, Asia Pacific, said, "Viewsonic is always the leader in worldwide LCD market and endeavors to provide innovative LCD products to end-users. Viewsonic is now promoting wide LCD trend worldwide and has obtained positive response from the market. Most importantly, we have driven LCD market trend from 4:3 LCDs to wide-screen LCDs.
"In the Indian market, Viewsonic is the first brand to introduce wide-screen LCDs, and we can forecast wide-screen LCDs will account for 30 percent of the total market in India.
