Linux FreeBSD tries to compete with GNU/Linux

BSD doesn't have to compete, they've their own niche. In fact many of the networking products have BSD kernels. In fact most of D-Link products have BSD kernels if I'm not wrong & I don't see it as something wrong. There is much give & take which happens between the two communities which perhaps u're not aware of. MS has just too many enemies & most of them are colluding with each other. For e.g. 'Google Summer of Code' just as an e.g. So they've to come up with some killer stuff.
